And the water is taller than me
And the land is a marker line
All I have is a body
Adrift in water, salt and sky

These “Salt Print” photographs are created using a historic method from the 1840s. A layer of sea salt is brushed onto a sheet of paper followed by a silver solution making the sheet light sensitive. A negative is then overlayed on top and exposed to light, creating a positive print. This print is finally washed, fixed, and toned with gold solution to resulting in a permanent image.
